Bundala National Park

Bundala National Park is a protected area in the south-eastern part of Sri Lanka. It is located in the Hambantota district, about 260 km south-east of Colombo. The park covers an area of around 6,216 hectares and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.
The park is home to a large number of bird species, including flamingos, pelicans and herons. It is also home to several species of reptiles, including crocodiles, lizards and snakes. Mammals in the park include elephants, deer and various primate species.
There are several entrances to the park, with the main entrance on the road from Hambantota to Tangalle. The park is open daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
