Yala National Park
Yala National Park in Sri Lanka is the most famous and most visited national park in the country. It is located in the south-east of the country and covers an area of over 1,300 square kilometers. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, especially elephants, lions and leopards. Yala National Park has a total of five entrances, which are accessible from the towns of Tissamaharama, Kataragama, Okkampitiya, Kirinda and Palatupana.
